Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage help desk tickets and provide end-user technical support
• Offer technical support for desktop computers and peripherals, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair in a networked environment
• Assess the feasibility of equipment repair or replacement, and take necessary action
• Maintain Mobile Device Management endpoints and software
• Troubleshoot issues with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and remote connection systems
• Manage Active Directory, including users, groups, computers, and organizational units at intermediate to advanced levels
• Set up office workstations, including PCs and printers, and support large-scale deployments involving unboxing, cabling, and initializing new technology equipment
• Collaborate with IT teams on the development, maintenance, testing, and execution of backup and disaster recovery plans
• Assist with inventory management and client equipment forecasting
• Coordinate with clients to maintain and service network hardware, software, audio/video, facilities, and telecommunications
• Document and maintain client technical systems files
• Participate in rollouts, migrations, and upgrades
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Associate degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education
• Two (2) years of related experience; may substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum requirement

Requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with staff at all levels
• Strong knowledge of personal computers, particularly Microsoft products, and TCP/IP network functionality
• Valid drivers license
• Clean drug screen and criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal education in Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in Education, Government, and Managed Services sectors is highly desirable

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 40 pounds and/or move boxes and equipment as needed
• Occasionally required to transfer equipment between locations
• Regular kneeling, crouching, climbing, walking, sitting, twisting, and reaching to perform essential functions with in-place equipment
