Blush & Bashful Romance Bookshop Receives the March 2026 Quality Service Award

Blush & Bashful Romance Bookshop received the March 2026 Quality Service Award, presented by the Christian County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Copperband Technologies.
The shop opened in May 2024 and is named for Shelby’s two wedding colors in Steel Magnolias, which tells you most of what you need to know about the place before you walk in.

Owner Emily Ezell built it to be more than retail. Monthly book clubs, themed nights, gifts and merch for the readers in your life, and collaborations with other local businesses, including themed events timed to the film releases of books people have already read.
Some say the real sign of a thriving town is a bookstore. Hopkinsville has a good one.
Liz Grant presented the award for Copperband, and she and Samantha walked out with several new books.
The Quality Service Award is presented monthly by the Christian County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Copperband Technologies.
