Tech Wizards at Fright on Franklin
Fright on Franklin came back to downtown Clarksville on Saturday, October 25, 2025, for its sixteenth year, and Copperband set up a tent.
The City of Clarksville event ran from 3 to 6 p.m. across Franklin Street, Public Square, and Strawberry Alley, with more than seventy candy booths, an activity zone, and the costume contest that draws half the town. We took the tech wizard idea as far as it would go: robes, hats, a beard or two, cauldrons of candy, and a table dressed with retired hardware, cobwebs, and a few skeletons that had clearly lost an argument with a desktop tower.
The thing people actually remember, though, was the cauldron of 3D printed fidgets, courtesy of Bill, our Chief Tech Wizard. We are still not sure who liked those more, the kids or the parents who came back for one themselves.
Cole, Liz, Samantha and Luis worked the tent all afternoon, handing out candy and fidgets to a steady line of trick or treaters. Bringing a little tech magic to a Saturday downtown is exactly the kind of thing we like being part of, and this crew is why it happened.
Fright on Franklin is presented each October by the City of Clarksville.
