McAlister’s Deli Receives the July 2026 Quality Service Award

McAlister’s Deli received the July 2026 Quality Service Award on July 27, presented by the Christian County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Copperband Technologies.
The Hopkinsville location opened on October 14, 2024, on Fort Campbell Boulevard, in a building that had sat empty long enough to become an eyesore. The renovation turned it back into somewhere people go.

The opening tells you how the town felt about it. People started lining up at four in the morning for a ten o’clock ribbon cutting, the line wrapped the building, and the first hundred through the door earned a free sandwich every week for a year. The Christian County and Hopkinsville High School jazz band played the ceremony.
More than sixty people were hired locally to open it. Since then the restaurant has kept turning up in town life, catering the Chamber’s Newcomers and Neighbors luncheon, running Free Tea Day, putting out specials for first responders and teachers.
This is the youngest business to take the award this year, which says something about how fast a crew can build a reputation when the service is right every day.
Liz Grant presented the award for Copperband. A good crowd of local businesses and community members turned up for it.
The Quality Service Award is presented monthly by the Christian County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Copperband Technologies.
