How We Work with Small Businesses

• The same team the big accounts get. The technicians who support county 911 centers, private schools, and manufacturing shops are the same ones who answer when a five person office calls. You are not routed somewhere else because your account is smaller.
• One person usually makes the decisions. There is no IT committee and no internal department to go through. We talk to the owner, in plain language, about what something costs and whether it is worth doing. When the answer is that you do not need it yet, we say that.
• Working with what you already have. Most small businesses run a mix of things bought at different times for different reasons. We take it as it is, get it stable, and replace pieces on a schedule you can afford. We do not assume the answer is to replace everything at once.
• The basics have to be right. Email and the accounts behind it need to be protected. Backups need to be checked. The network and phones need to stay up. We start there before trying to sell you another layer of technology.
• Room to grow into. Small businesses add people, move buildings, open another location, or start depending on systems they did not need when they were smaller. We plan for that as we go so growth does not mean ripping everything out and starting over.
